2. Nice theme Sree!
keep up the good work :)

3. Nice looking theme, but you may want to look at your line height of your post headlines.

4. Thanks Grace & miklb . The line height was intentional :p , well anyway i’ll increase it right away.

5. i really like the theme, but i’d like to have it only take up the middle 70%ish of the screen, how would i do that?

6. in css file.
width: 70%;

of container I think.

I like this theme very much. Is there also a theme available for the admin-section?

9. Great wordpress Theme. Just a couple of questions. I don’t see an archives section, does the “latest” sidebar turn into an archive after a certain amount of posts?

10. Wow, great template, I’m in love with it. I edited the CSS to make it look a little more flashy, but overall, it’s very impressive. I’ll be using this for a long time.

11. Thanks for the great theme.

apologies for the dumb questions: where do I use class=”articleimgleft” In the post body itself? in the Upload dialog?

And is there an “easy” way to determine where images uploads will go to – e.g. /wp-content/uploads/2006/04/img.jpg –

I’ll keep looking on your site for the answers.

12. If this image.gif is the image. you have to put the class inside the image tag. like this

<img src="http://location/image.gif" class="articleimg" alt="" />

13. Thanks, Sreejith –

Where’s the best place to add that class attribute? When I do it directly in the Post via the HTML editor, the result is the image layer / div hangs below the Post itself (see the URL above)

When I use the “insert image” TinyMCE control, I get the same thing. (I see this in Firefox and Safari on the Mac)

Again, thanks, and my apologies for the simplistic questions.

14. You can always choose the “html” option in the TinyMCE editor and insert the class code and update it.

15. Sorry if this is a silly / obvious question. How can I add a graphical image to the banner.

For example, let’s say I have an image I would like right justified and can trim it to be the same height as the existing banner.

thanks…

17. Has anyone noticed that on long posts, the text starts to slide off the “page” to left. If the post is long enought, the leftmost letters become unreadable.

Any thoughts?

18. Can you tell me which browser you are using?

19. Robert, I am also experiencing the issue where the text on my page is gradually shifting to the left. I am sending an email to the creators about this.

Thanks,
Will.

20. Please download the theme again and replace the style.css file.

The blockquote was causing this problem on Internet explorer and browser using IE engine.

23. Here’s a little hack to make the side bar titles to stand out more:
#right .title{
background: url(images/head.gif) #555;
font-weight:bold;
margin: 0 0 10px 0;
padding: 2px 2px 2px 2px;
font-family:lucida,verdana,sans-serif;
text-align: left;
border: 1px solid #666666;
}

you can see it at toddapalooza.org

24. Hi Sreejith!

Just downloaded your theme and installed it. Looks great! There are so many to choose from and get’s quite confusing. First let me know the things I personally look for:

Darker themes – Too many pages throughout the internet using plain old shocking white (not to mention Windows Explorer in XP et al. When one uses the computer for hours on end, I tend to like darker colors, or some what sub-dued colors, like a dark blue would be nice, or even a wine-colored, dark red.

Sub-category indentation – I like this. Most themes DON’T indent the subcategories and just list ALL the categories, sub- or not, in a flat list. The indentation really helps to find things once you start gathering a number of categories and sub-categories.

Problems & Suggestions:
———————————–
Categories: I noticed that your sub-category fonts overlap when there are 2 or more categories. Also, if possible, it would be nice to be able to hide or show sub-categories via a +/- type of pull down or flyout menu.

Alternate Color Selection: As commenting above about colors, it would be nice if you can create this with alternate dark-themed (relatively) color selections (i.e., a dark red, wine-colored, or cool neon or oceanic blue, or dark foliage green representing an ‘earthy’ or ‘environmental’ theme.) The themes should still be relatively dark, but at the same time, good color selections so that fonts and text are easily readable.

3-Columns: An idea? No possibility? It’d be nice to have left and right-side side bars.

Anyway, this is my two-cents worth. For now, I am going to adopt your theme for my private (personal) blog. (I have more then one. ) (@J@).

Cheers,

25. Thanks for the comment Jerry, I will try to implement the ones I can … soon.

26. Where’s the preview? When I follow the link, I get to a blog that looks completly different to the preview image.

27. Fixed. Try now.

28. Been using DarkPad for a while now over at the funcave. Thanks muchly for that, BTW.

Glad to see DP & you getting some well-deserved kudos.

All best…

29. Is this theme compatible with WP 2.0.4?

Ms.U

30. It is , and its compatible with 2.0.5 too.

31. Nice theme Sreejith!

I have looked and edited some of the CSS but can’t find where to edit the post heading which I think are just a little too much in the face. Could you tell me where to edit please?

I like the theme.

32. I have looked and edited some of the CSS but can’t find where to edit the post heading which I think are just a little too much in the face. Could you tell me where to edit please?

.content h2 a, .content h2 a:visited {
color: #000000;
text-decoration: none;
}

Inside the above tag. :)

33. Please, how can I center more the theme ? I mean to have in the left more spacing. I’m new to html and css, sorry if this sounds noob. I’ve tried to edit style.css but I don’t know exactly how should I do it. Thanks.

34. Hello and wonderful theme. When I set pictures to “LEFT” (text-left) in WordPress, I get a hanging image. It droops over the area the post is in. However when I turn it off, the post is back to normal. How can I post text next to my pic without getting a hanging image?

35. I’m using it on my site and I have made a few adjustments like changing
$before_title = '';
$after_title = '';

to
$before_title = '';
$after_title = '';

36. Ooops, check the source to see what I meant.

37. Hi, after upgrade to WP 2.1 i resive follow error:

WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1]
SELECT cat_id , cat_name FROM

any fixes?

regards

38. I updated to WordPress 2.1 and there was a MySQL error in the sidebar in your DarkPad theme underneath Search. I use your theme, like it and corrected your query for the new database structure.

Line 23 changed in sidebar.php FROM:
$link_cats = $wpdb->get_results(”SELECT cat_id, cat_name FROM $wpdb->linkcategories”);

Changed TO:
$link_cats = $wpdb->get_results(”SELECT cat_id, cat_name FROM $wpdb->categories WHERE link_count!=’0′”);

I believe this problem is because link categories are now integrated into the main wp_categories table.

It works! No error. Wanted to share this with you and all other users of this excellent theme.

Cheers,
Adam

39. Also, one more change that doesn’t fix an error but properly styles the Blogroll links. For design completists.

Line 30 CHANGE the function FROM:
wp_get_links($link_cat->cat_id);

Line 30 CHANGE the function TO:
get_links($link_cat->cat_id,””,””);

Now, the white diamonds will return (as Elizabeth Taylor would say!) and the text will be the proper size.

Cheers,
Adam

40. I’ve been using the DarkPad 1.0 theme for a while and REALLY like it. I just upgraded WP 2.1 and I’m getting an error, “…error in your SQL syntax…”.

I’ve read it might be theme issue, so I thought I’d check first with you before I panicked.

Thanks for a GREAT theme.

-Steve

41. i was searching for 3 column quite same like this…!!
